Where to Go and What to See
New York's Hasted Hunt gallery unveils this week Contradictions in Black and White, an exhibition of various prominent photographers working within the confines of those two dramatic tones. The collection of work from photography's top artists—including Irving Penn, Margaret Bourke-White, and Harry Callahan—will visually toy with abstraction, chaos, and order. Of particular interest for this exhibit is the inclusion of Adam Fuss's famed photograms and Vera Lutter's camera obscura images.
