SI Gives Phelps the Spitz Treatment

Picture_1 Picture_3 Sports Illustrated has Michael Phelps on its new cover, wearing all eight of his gold medals, in a shot that echoes the iconic 1972 portrait of Mark Spitz, who wore seven.  The picture is by Simon Bruty,  and we think its great.--David Schonauer

Copying a 36 years old photograph is a sign of talent for you ? no inspiration, no creativity...We find it sad that this is the only idea SI could come up with after all this time to think about it...pathetic, we say

This is a great photo, bringing back the vintage quality is great!
