Fred Spira, Photo Innovator Dies

An interesting obituary in the New York Times (let's hope they got the facts right this time) about a man who helped bring photography into the modern age. The point here, as I see it, is that we can't talk about the art of photography without talking about the people who have created the technology of photography. I really didn't know much about Fred Spira until I read this.

Thank you for your kind words and mention of the obituary.

To respond to your comment about the Times getting the facts right, they came pretty close although no one would have described Spiratone's first real home on W 27. street as "vast".
