Friday Photo Quiz

Picture_1_2 Last week's quiz question involved William Henry Fox Talbot's landmark book "The Pencil of Nature." We wanted to know what made it a landmark in photo history. Doyle Thomas correctly answered that it was the first book illustrated with photographs.

This week the subject is another photographic pioneer. Joseph Nicephore Niepce (seen here) is credited with obtaining the first permanent photographic images. What term did he coin to describe his invention?
